Study Design

In this open-label, cross-over study, 20 healthy, HIV-negative male volunteers were administered telaprevir 750 mg TID alone, raltegravir 400 mg BID alone, and both dosing regimens simultaneously. PK sampling was performed for both drugs.

Study Results

Telaprevir increased raltegravir Cmin 78%, Cmax 26% and AUC 31%. The change in Cmax was not statistically significant, and none of the changes are likely to be clinically relevant. In the presence of raltegravir, telaprevir Cmin increased 14%, and Cmax and AUC did not change significantly.
