Study Design

In this study the drug-drug interaction potential of daclatasvir (DCV) with tacrolimus was assessed. Tacrolimus was administered as a 5mg single dose and daclatasvir was given as 60mg QD.

Study Results

Using geometric mean ratios (GMR) and 90% confidence intervals (CI), the Cmax, Cmin and AUC for DCV was 1.07 (1.02-1.12), 1.10 (1.03-1.19) and 1.05 (1.03-1.07), while the Cmax and AUC for tacrolimus was 1.05 (0.90-1.23) and 1.00 (0.88-1.13), respectively.

Study Conclusions

Tacrolimus exposure was not affected by coadministration with DCV. The manufacturer states that no dose adjustment is required.
