Summary

Five and three HIV infected patients receiving saquinavir 1000mg three times daily and ritonavir 600mg twice daily, respectively had PK parameters determined at steady state and with the addition of fluconazole 400mg x 1, then 200mg daily for 6 days. SQV AUC0-8hr and Cmax increased 50 and 56% with the addition of fluconazole (p=0.04). There was no significant change in RTV PK parameters with the addition of fluconazole.
