Summary

The coadministration of lopinavir/r (LPV/r) with buprenorphine/naloxone did not result in significant changes in the AUC or Cmax of buprenorphine or naloxone. There was also no significant differences in norbuprenorphine (the primary metabolite of buprenorphine) AUC; however, there was a statistically significant increase in its clearance and a statistically significant decrease in its Cmax, without leading to opioid withdrawal. Dose adjustments are not recommended.
