Summary

Seven healthy volunteers were given Indinavir 800mg TID (4 doses total) followed by a 7-day washout, then Vitamin C 1000mg/day for 7 days, then Indinavir 800mg TID for 4 doses at the end of the 7 day course of Vitamin C. Vitamin C decreased IDV Cmax and AUC0-8hr by 20 and 14%, respectively (p=0.04 and 0.05, respectively). Mean IDV Cmin was decreased 32%, but not statistically significantly [106].
