Summary

Darunavir and ritonavir (DRV/r) were given to healthy subjects as 400mg/100mg twice daily with either paroxetine 20mg once daily or sertraline 50mg once daily. There was a 49% decrease in sertraline AUC and a 39% decrease in paroxetine AUC when co-administered with DRV/r as compared to sertraline or paroxetine alone. Dose titration of an SSRI is recommended when given with DRV/r with close monitoring of clinical response.
